THANK YOU TO THE 2011 BOARD AND EVERY MEMBER THAT PUT ON A RACE. WE HAD A WONDERFUL YEAR AND A GREAT FINALS ON SATURDAY 10/1/11. THE WEATHER WAS GREAT AND THE GROUND WAS TOO. THE AWARDS AND FOOD WERE AWESOME!

Thanks for visiting the official Colorado West Barrel Racing website. On this site you can find information about our association, it's rules, dates and locations of races, and much more. Please browse and let us know if you have any comments or suggestions for the site.

The calendar of events page is updated on the 10^th of each month. If there are additional races to be added, then the site is updated again on the 25^th of the month. Race results and point standings are generally updated within 3-5 days of a race.

Have you ever been interested in Barrel Racing?

If so, now's your chance. With the CWBRA everyone has a chance to be a winner. We have a 4D format with a 1/2 second split between the 1D, 2D and 3D and a full second split between the 3D and 4D. All levels of riders have a chance to place for our year end awards. We offer A saddle (if money allows) for first place in each division with other great awards through at least fifth place. So if you are a beginner, seasoned rider, or just starting a new horse, this is a great club to run with. So check out our calender of events and come on down. We look forward to meeting you. When your day seems out of balance, when so many things go wrong. When people fight around you and the day drags on so long........When parents act like children and in-laws make you think of divorce. Go out into your pasture and wrap your arms around your horse. Their gentle breath enfolds you and they watch with big bright eyes. They may not have a PhD., but still.. ther're oh, so wise!!! Their head rests upon your shoulder. you embrace them so tight. They put your world in balance and make it seem so right. Your tears will soon stop flowing. The tension is now eased. The garbage has been lifted and your quiet and at peace. So when you need the balance from circumstances in your day...The best therapy that you could ask for, is out there eating hay!!!!
